Job Summary:
Automation Technician performs work with automated and electrical systems in facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform work orders assigned by the Planners.
  • Perform daily preventive maintenance of electrical circuits.
  • Install new electrical circuits.
  • Bend and install electrical conduit following all appropriate local and national codes.
  • Responsible for maintenance, inspections, and modification of electrical equipment, technologies and processes.
  • Troubleshoot of electrical circuits, motors and equipment controls.
  • Help plant production personnel troubleshoot production problems.
  • Maintain the Controls System.
  • Maintain accurate records pertaining to work performed.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Technical Competencies:
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of various instrumentation , meters, reading of P&ID's and proper wiring techniques
  • Proficiency in ladder logic design using Allen - Bradley equipment
  • Familiar with Wonderware Suite of Software
  • Proficiency MS Excel, MS Word, Auto Cad a is a bonus
  • Sound Trouble Shooting Skills

  • A.A.S. Degree in Electrical Technology and / or two years of related experience.

Non-technical Competencies:
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Requires the ability to communicate and document work.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.

Work Conditions
  • 7 days on - 7 days off rotating schedule
  • 12 hour Shifts
  • Requires the ability to communicate and document work
  • Track and maintain information on a data base
  • Be able to move up and down stairs
  • Occasionally move up to 80 pounds for 12 hour shifts
  • Able and willing to work at heights of 80 feet or more
  • Able and willing to work in confined spaces
  • Able and willing to work in cold or hot environments
  • Able and willing to work on ladders
  • Be able to work at floor level, waist level, and shoulder level, and above both close and away from body
  • Be able to work the shift assigned and fill on other shifts as needed.
  • Be able to work weekends (including Saturday and Sunday) and off shifts if needed or assigned

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
