Job Summary:
Wastewater Treatment Operator assist in operation of our Wastewater Treatment facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform monitoring of wastewater plant processes, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform wastewater plant sampling of processes, and complete analysis of samples.
  • Perform sampling, filtration, and preservation of monitoring wells.
  • Perform wetland volume remaining inspections, and accurately document findings.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of wastewater plant equipment.
  • Perform grounds maintenance to include mowing, weed eating, and snow plowing.
  • Perform building maintenance to include sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Have a South Dakota Wastewater Operations Class 1 certificate or obtain within twelve months o

Technical Competencies:
  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail and multitask effectively.
  • Able to properly document information legibly.
  • Understand and obey all Good Manufacturing Practice.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a strong mathematical knowledge.

Non-technical Competencies:
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Requires the ability to communicate and document work.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good to excellent spelling, grammar and communication skills.

Work Conditions
  • Track and maintain information on a database.
  • Be able to move up to 60 pounds.
  • Be able to work at floor level, waist level, and shoulder level.
  • Be able to work the shift assigned and fill in other shifts as needed.
  • Be able to work weekends (including Saturday and Sunday) and off shifts if needed or assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
